If 2025 left you with a few emotional bruises, you’re not alone. Here’s how to transform those experiences into wisdom and enter 2026 ready for something truly wonderful.

#1 - Reflect Before You Reset

Before you dive into new year resolutions, take a moment to look back at what 2025 taught you. What patterns keep showing up? Perhaps you’re always the one doing the chasing, or maybe you ignore those early doubts. Write down both the highs and the heartbreaks - they’re equally valuable teachers. This reflection isn’t about beating yourself up; it’s about identifying what you’re ready to leave behind.

#2 - Understanding What “Baggage” Really Means

Relationship baggage is the unresolved hurt, lingering mistrust, and fear of vulnerability that you unconsciously carry forward. It’s assuming your new date will let you down because your ex did, or testing someone’s commitment because you’re terrified of abandonment.
