Katie Barrell visited the iconic Palace Theatre in Manchester to watch the Take That Musical Greatest Day
Last night we attended the iconic Palace Theatre in Manchester to watch the Take That Musical Greatest Day.
The story set in the early 90s and follows a group of young friends who share a passion for the same boy band. You go on the journey with them as they prepare to see their boys live and do what they can to try and meet them after the show.
The story is beautifully told on how the bonds of friendships growing up change when impacted with one major event, and how they all end up growing up on different paths apart from each other.
They come back together years later for the bands reunion tour and not only relight their joy of the music but are able to find their bond as friends again.
We went through all emotions with the cast last night throughout the show while singing and dancing to the popular soundtrack of Take thatโs best hits.
The cast really brought this show to life and the uncomplicated staging was cleverly done. Itโs not often we watch a show and sit there thinking wow that was me in my youth, it really took us back and reminded us of the joy we found in the music as teenagers and how when they state that โwe grew up with the boysโ how true that statement is in your own life.
Certainly a 10 out of 10 and one not to be missed!
