Following the launch of their dedicated Cheshire office in 2021, Guncast Swimming Pools has gone from strength to strength over the past two years. The UK supplier, installer and luxury pool expert Guncast Swimming Pools, under the larger umbrella of companies, the German sauna and spa specialist KLAFS have agreed almost ยฃ2.5m worth of business. Having won a broad mix of domestic and commercial projects, the organisationsโ busy pipeline includes a selection of KLAFSโ award-winning range of saunas, steams and wellness suites.
Recent projects include indoor and outdoor pools and custom-designed heat experience cabins in The Wirral, Hale and Alderley Edge. Guncast Swimming Pools and KLAFS have also beaten off stiff competition to win the bid of a complete new spa development at an award winning spa in the north. The scheme includes both a rooftop and indoor vitality pool, as well as a sauna (Sanarium), ice lounge, heated loungers and footbaths. This project is due to complete in spring/summer 2024.

As we head into 2024, KLAFS have recently brought a range of innovative new products to the UK market, and is already seeing a huge demand for projects kicking off in the New Year.

Carefully dimensioned, precisely angled horizontal wooden slats create seemingly free-floating loungers, set against a backdrop of traditional Japanese Washi paper, and fit with cutting-edge lighting technology to deliver the most luxurious sensory phenomenon.

Allowing sauna lovers to reap the health benefits of sauna bathing more effectively, KLAFSโ new Vitality Boost gives both the userโs cardiovascular and immune system an intensive workout. Integrated into KLAFSโ Sanarium Heater Majus, the Vitality Boost automates running water over hot stones, not only creating a soothing soundscape but also increasing humidity and perceived temperature within the cabin. An air current distributes the water vapour evenly across the skin, raising usersโ internal body temperature and working vital bodily functions at a higher level.
