The residences at Dylan Coastal Resort are set on a stunning clifftop location overlooking the Taf Estuary in the town of Laugharne which was the home of the famous poet Dylan Thomas. Approximately an hours drive from Swansea, where you can reach by train direct from Manchester and Crewe stations or it’s a four hour drive from Cheshire. Pembrokeshire, the Gower Peninsular, Tenby and the Breacon Beacons can also all be reached in less than an hour’s drive.
The residences provide a place where you can escape to and have as a home from home, with lush green landscapes, unspoilt golden sands, and some of the area’s top attractions on your doorstep. It’s a place where any day can be a weekend, and where unforgettable memories are made.
The resort is within a gated community and open 365 days a year with the benefits of full time 24 hour security, a world class spa and dining facilities surrounded by acres of beautiful countryside and the stunning view.
There are different choices of residences to choose from, all have either two or three bedroom options with modern and airy living spaces with vaulted ceilings, fully glazed front elevation on to the terrace area, Samsung TV’s, a fully fitted kitchen with electric hob, eye level oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, wine cooler, quooker hot tap and a dual washer/dryer.
All soft furnishings are included including sofa, curtains, floorings and carpets with the bathroom fittings being Hansgrohe, and if you want to add those little extras you can have a hot tub, outside kitchen and fire pits provided on request.
Laugharne is a beautiful town to visit with plenty of pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops. The resort is only a short walk to the Dylan Thomas Boathouse where the great writer penned some of his most famous work, the Dylan Thomas museum where you can visit his house, and have a cup of tea while viewing his memorabilia.
It is a perfect base to explore the wonderful Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire coasts and town. The South Wales Coastal Path passes by the resort providing lots of walks and wonderful views from the lodges.
On site is the wonderful Milk Wood Spa, it is an inspiring wellness destination that brings together first class facilities, innovative therapies and the power of natural healing.
The spa has treatment rooms for a range of massages and facials, infinity pool, tepidarium, sauna, relaxation room, manicure and pedicure stations, the gym has the latest Technogym equipment and wellness technologies, with state of the art Artis Cardio equipment, a selection of free weights and multi-use resistance machines.
Along with the Milk Wood Spa there is the Milk Wood Bar and Kitchen where you can have a delicious breakfast, coffee and teas throughout the day, soak up the sun on the terrace with a selection of seasonal salads, sandwiches and sweet treats and by night sample hearty fare paired with the finest wines or sip on a classic cocktail by the fireside.
If purchasing a lodge is not what you are looking for but would like to enjoy the benefits of the Dylan Coastal Resort, you can rent the lodges for between £1250 and £3250 a week depending on the time of year and you can enjoy all the facilities on site.
