Spotlight On… Albert’s Schloss Manchester

BEST FOR: Festive group fun with live entertainment

Grab your co-worker, friends or family and head to Albert Schloss this festive period.

The live entertainment venue, located on Peter Street in Manchester’s bustling city centre, are serving up a new Winter Cook Haus menu all day long. Expect traditional European dishes such as Tyrolean schnitzel, Spatzle and Fondue with a modern Schloss Twist. Schloss Klassics also include crispy bier-battered Fish + Chips, Humble Pie and Paprikash Chicken, and many, many more indulgent delights are also included.

Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8am, a new breakfast offering is also available throughout December. For just £25 per person guests can enjoy a menu of endless indulgence starting with a Mimosa or fresh juice on arrival, a selection of Albert’s Schloss famous seasonal pastries baked in-haus all year round by master bakers, a choice of any breakfast dish including Kroissant Royale with Bacon, Salmon Royale, and Turkish Eggs, and unlimited tea, coffee, and hot chocolate.

In the run-up to Christmas, and to celebrate the release of the ‘Alpine Wanderlust’ travel-inspired drinks menu, Schloss lovers can sign up to receive a postcard that’s exchangeable in-venue for up to £100 off drinks. Sign up is easy albertsschloss.co.uk/alberts-adventure simply enter your name and UK address to be in with a chance to receive a postcard.

The postcard, which gained popularity during the 1860s and Prince Albert’s lifetime, has long been a way to share stories from afar with loved ones. Whilst on his travels, which includes a visit to Picardy, the home of Grey Goose, he is picking up postcards along the way to send to his favourite guests to invite them to try new drinks on him.

The drink on the new seasonal menu ‘Alpine Wanderlust’ has been inspired by dreamy winter destinations, including Europe’s finest chalets with the Grey Goose Hot Schokolade, made to a traditional European recipe, or a decadent homage to the fruits of the forest with Black Forest Gateau Martini featuring aged-cherry gin, chocolate flavours and a smoky cherry liqueur. Albert’s Strawberry Daiquiri uniquely features fresh strawberry purée, a nod to Dordogne Valley's vast and famed produce, elevating a classic cocktail to cult-like status at Schloss.

The new menu complements an unlike-anywhere-else Seven Days of Showtime lineup, with festive additions like Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve Choir performances by the Soul City Voices, Albert’s Absolut Winter Wunder Band every Saturday, Albert’s Marching Band every Thursday and the New Year's Eve Grand Soirée.
