The identity of OD Hotels is clear in each of the 98 rooms and suites, in the gleaming lobby lounge, the restaurant with terrace and garden, and the OD Sky Bar. This amazing rooftop terrace, has a swimming pool and a solarium where to enjoy the best cocktails with inspiring city views. The hotel’s own events like the after-work Burger meets Gin or the Mexican Brunch enhance the guests' experience and guarantee a memorable stay at any time of the year. Every detail of the hotel is an authentic expression of aesthetic design. The architectural studio of Rahola-Vidal and the interior designer Mayte Matutes created the sleek architecture and refined interiors for a fluent, congruent appearance, together with a selection of design furnishings and textiles made exclusively for the hotel. The design is complemented by the most advanced technology and sustainable features.
Rooms and Suites
The 98 rooms of Ocean Drive Barcelona are generously sized and equipped, and have a contemporary and aesthetic design concept which concurs with Mediterranean influences. Furthermore, this new hotel offers various Suites and a Grand Suite with a private swimming pool on a terrace, an oasis with great views. All the rooms are very quiet thanks to their avant-garde insulation structure. In addition, they have a solid sliding door to block the light from the outside and isolate the room even more.
The Grand Suite is the largest in the hotel and presents your own private oasis in Barcelona with a 40 m2 suite with roof-top terrace with swimming pool. It really is one of a kind.
Our Experience
We loved the relaxed feel around the hotel. Everyone we met whilst staying at Ocean Drive were so friendly. Every morning we were greeted with a welcoming smile from Javea; he always ensured we started the day well with perfectly cooked eggs, surprising us with pancakes or a speciality smoothie of the day.
A highlight of the hotel is the OD Sky Bar, which is small but perfectly laid out for an evening of delicious cocktails overlooking the city.
The location is perfect to travel around the city and see all the sights; the rooms are spacious and the people are fabulous. For anyone wanting a central hotel to explore Barcelona, this is the perfect choice.
