Who are WRS?
Wealth Recovery Solicitors (WRS) is a fully regulated boutique law firm based in Manchester. We are specialists in recovering investments lost through negligence and scams.
WRS was set up in February 2021 and has already been successful in recovering ยฃ2,500,000 in lost monies. WRS offer a no win no fee and pride themselves on settling cases without litigation.
How do you know if Iโm entitled to compensation?
There are a number of things that the team of experts at WRS will consider when determining whether you are entitled to compensation such as; being coerced into certain investments, unable to withdraw the monies when you wanted, pressure to deposit more money than you initially wanted to or even upgraded to a certain account that might not reflect your investing experience.
What if the broker is located abroad?
This is something that we have a lot of experience in dealing with. For example, we have worked with many clients that have lost money to regulated brokers in Cyprus, and because these companies are regulated we are normally extremely successful when trying to recover compensation.
I have lost my money through cryptocurrency, has my money gone forever?
Just because you have been scammed and transferred with cryptocurrency rather than through straightforward bank transfers, it is not necessarily doom and gloom. We have invested in the latest software and technology that often enables us to trace where your money has potentially gone. We are one of the only Law firms in the world with this software.
I have already approached my bank and they said my money has gone, there is no point is there?
Again, we canโt guarantee that we can help, but we would look at your case on an individual basis and there may be other routes to try and recover your money. My partner does not know about my loss and I really do not want any of my family/friends to ever know about this- do you offer 100% confidentiality?

We will only ever deal with your case on your terms, and we can arrange to speak to you via telephone, email, or any other form of communication on your terms, to suit you.
Why instruct WRS over other recovery companies?

Unfortunately, there are other companies out there who masquerade as recovery companies but when you delve deeper, you may find that this is actually a scam.
So even if you do not use our services, please be very careful of firms who;
State that they are a UK based firm but do not offer the opportunity to meet you in person and only offer you telephone or zoom call meetings.
Claim to be regulated bodies but struggle to show or explain any of their credentials through independent third party sources.
Are based in countries abroad which arenโt subject to the same level of regulations as the UK and therefore offer more risk.
If I have been the victim of an investment scam, who should I contact?
It is always best to contact either the police (who from our clientsโ experience may well say itโs a civil matter) or a specialist law firm such as WRS as soon as you have discovered you have been a victim of an investment scam. Our team of experts will be able to advise you.
