Bedknobs and Broomsticks - The Magical Musical
Katie Barrell watched the magic of Bedknobs and Broomsticks come alive at The Lowry Theatre in Salford
Last night we entered the magical world of Walt Disney and watched as the iconic film Bedknobs and Broomsticks came alive on stage. Showing at the Lowry Theatre in Salford until Saturday 19th March, this is a great night out for all of the family.
The cast and crew have set the scenes and portray the characters perfectly. It’s the story of 3 children who evacuated from London during WW2 and end up on an adventure with an apprentice witch who they are placed with to find the perfect spell to try and stop an invasion.
There were twists and turns along the way with a soundtrack of all the classic songs including Age Of Not Believing, Portobello Road and The Beautiful Briny Sea. We found ourselves transported back to our youth singing and swaying along.
