Cheshire Loves... Family Easter Experiences

This Easter, treat yourself and your loved ones to an egg-cellent experience, from Easter egg hunts in the Cotswolds and Dorset to a relaxed country house retreat or Cheshire staycation, we have something for everyone

Habitat Escapes Easter Egg Hunt

This year Habitat Escapes is welcoming guests to take part in their biggest ever Easter egg hunt across both Lower Mill Estate in the Cotswolds and Silverlake in Dorset. The hunt will lead families to all corners of the sprawling nature reserves, hunting for over 100 wooden eggs hidden between forests, heathland, and even out on the lakes. With no time restriction, families can jump on a bike to explore the surroundings or hit the lakes for paddle boarding and canoeing, all as they hunt around for the eggs – the perfect activity to spend time together and breathe in fresh country air. Prizes are also available for those who manage to find over 10 eggs during their stay.

Easter Activity at Cottons Hotel

For those looking for a family staycation, Cottons Hotel and Spa in Knutsford boasts fantastic family-friendly amenities. Always aiming to go above and beyond for their little guests, children will find a fun-filled welcome pack when they arrive. During their stay, each child gets their very own fluffy ‘VI Little P’ bathrobe, personalised cookie, fresh milk and tempting snacks. In the award-winning restaurant, young diners will find a delicious menu filled with all their favourite dishes. The hotel also has a pre-bookable cinema club - complete with beanbags and popcorn, of course. For an action-packed day, Cottons has a large indoor swimming pool, with children’s ‘splash times’. There will also be a variety of fun-filled Easter activities in and around the area to keep them entertained throughout the weekend.
