The Hotel
The hotel completed a multi-million-pound refurbishment in May 2020, which included all 788 guestrooms, all public spaces and the building’s façade. A perfect balance of art deco influences and contemporary design, the updates offer guests a truly unique experience.
The Deluxe Studio King rooms feature a king bed and a pull-out sofa bed which is perfect if you are travelling with a small family. There is plenty of space available to also accommodate a cot. The rooms also boast a complimentary minibar and include a Nespresso machine, free high-speed Wi-Fi, generously sized luxury Rituals toiletries in the en suite shower room, tea and coffee making facilities, mineral water and a large LCD HD television.
All guestrooms and public areas have been transformed into a modern finish to ensure your downtime is as comfortable as possible.
Food and Drink
Strand Palace’s restaurant, Haxells offers modern British inspired cuisine throughout the restaurant, bar, afternoon tearoom and private dining room and the Gin Palace bar features over 50 types of gin in a stylish setting. Dinner is served late at Haxells (last food order is 11pm) so after a busy day in the city you can wind down in the restaurant, before enjoying a cheeky nightcap at the Gin Palace. The options at breakfast are varied, with every taste catered for.

As we enter the start of the festive season, Strand Palace has launched its joyfully festive pamper package, the ‘Rituals Festive Gifting Package’, in partnership with iconic wellness brand, Rituals. The package will be exclusively available for guests until 29th December 2023.

Exclusively this season, the in-room gift features a hand-crafted Christmas village-inspired deluxe advent calendar adorned with twinkling lights, encased in a beautiful red gift box with 24 luxurious beauty gifts inside. In addition to this, guests can also feast on an indulgent array of ice-inspired sweet treats, savoury bites and a glistening Ice Cocktail, all included within the ‘Ice Palace Afternoon Tea’, which will take place in the hotel’s Ice Palace-inspired Tearoom, which is embellished with frosted snowflakes and sparkling snowy décor.
