Homes You’ll Love Inside Out
Cheshire Oaks based company Elan Homes expands in desirable locations across Cheshire
Elan Homes has built its reputation on building superb specification homes in some of the region’s most sought-after neighbourhoods, and, as the business expands with the launch of new developments across Cheshire and the surrounding area, discerning buyers will have even more to choose from.
The company, has a focus on traditionally built open market developments providing family housing in sustainable, yet desirable locations.
During 2018 Elan achieved sell-out success at various locations including Old Quay Meadow, Neston; The Hawthorns, Lach Dennis; Sycamore Gardens, Congleton; and Westminster Place, near Chester and earlier this year at Hope Park Mews in Macclesfield. At the time of going to press, the final few homes were available at Canalside, Middlewich and The Larches, Wilmslow.
Helping to satisfy market demand, Elan recently opened a show home at Handforth Court, Handforth, and launched sales at Derwent Court between Chorlton and Didsbury, and Culcheth Green, Culcheth, “off plan”, with new homes coming soon at Lindow Fields, Wilmslow.
With an experienced team at the helm, the ethos of the brand is to create “homes you’ll love inside out”.
This starts with the land team’s assessment of the potential of a site for development, and carries right through to those who construct the homes; the fixtures and fittings included as part of Elan’s high standard specification; to the sales executives and customer care.
Marie Morris, Sales Director for Elan Homes in the North, said: “Buying a home is one, if not the most significant purchases you can make and is also a very emotive experience. With that in mind, the people who will buy our homes and live in with them with their families are at the centre of all we do.
“When assessing the development potential of land, we consider who would want to live there and why, including local amenities such as well-regarded schools and commuter links. We then plan the style and number of homes to be built on that land to address local demand and in keeping with the surrounding area.”
Testament to the company’s standing, The Larches in Wilmslow, was shortlisted in the residential development category of the 2018 Northern Design Awards.
While the final large and luxurious home, a five-bedroom detached “Wilmslow” style property is on sale at The Larches, work is now underway on another Elan development, less than half a mile away. Lindow Fields is soon to launch, offering 10 executive four and five-bedroom homes.
In nearby Handforth, perfectly placed between the Cheshire countryside, Wilmslow and Manchester, a three-storey show home recently opened at Handforth Court, showcasing the three and four-bedroom homes available.
On the ground floor, the four-bedroom Adderley show home features a well-equipped kitchen to the front, with a combined lounge and dining room to the rear. There’s also a convenient cloakroom on this level.
On the first floor are two double bedrooms and the family bathroom. The master with en-suite is on the top floor, along with the fourth bedroom.Prices at Handforth Court start from £294,995.
Selected properties are available with incentive packages. Buyers could receive a £10,000 discount voucher or have the Stamp Duty paid. Some homes are available with flooring throughout and turf to rear garden.
Derwent Court, on Derwent Avenue, between Chorlton and Didsbury, has just launched, offering 13 premium quality homes. Five pairs of semi-detached houses and three terraced properties are being created all with four bedrooms, set over three floors. The homes will range in size from 1,498 sq ft to 1,768 sq ft, each with rear gardens, an integral single garage and designated parking spaces.
The thriving community offers an unrivalled location for those who work in Manchester city centre or those who travel further afield for work, with excellent commuter links.
“When it comes to choosing where to live, people often think they have to compromise on either the location or the specification but with an Elan home that’s not the case. Our homes are built with how people really live in mind. We design the layouts of the properties for maximum liveability, carefully considering how the space could be used,” Marie added.
“One of the key advantages of buying a new build home is that no one else has lived there, so you won’t inherit someone else’s décor and design choices. We offer a superb specification as standard, with many fixtures and fittings other homebuilders class as upgrades included within the purchase price.
“For example, subject to development, we install Symphony kitchens with integrated Smeg appliances including hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher, while bathrooms are by Ideal Standard or Sottini. As a general rule, if the roof hasn’t been fitted yet there will be time to make your choices, creating a home as individual as you.”
