New Summer Arrivals at Manchester Airport

New Summer Arrivals at Manchester Airport

Uncover new experiences for you and the family at the UKís global gateway in the North

Manchester Airport is enjoying its busiest summer on record, welcoming families to a fully transformed Terminal 2.

As the UK’s largest and best-connected airport outside London, Manchester Airport reported an incredible 3 million passengers travelling through its gates during June and expects to see more than 5.7 million - 120,000 per day - flying in or out across the summer.

Families travelling on their summer holidays have plenty of new options to look forward to before boarding, with new boutiques, seasonal ranges and summer menus, ready to welcome families travelling through the terminal throughout the season.

New arrivals at Boutique Mall

The Boutique Mall is the all-new premium shopping destination in Terminal 2 and the perfect place for mums
and dads to discover new arrivals and signature products before takeoff. The terminal now boasts its own Chanel boutique - the brand’s very first standalone airport makeup and skincare destination - as well as brand-new boutiques from Jo Malone London, Tom Ford and Le Labo.

For those family members looking to refresh their wardrobe, Terminal 2 now hosts luxury fashion retailers, including Coach and BOSS, to pick up a last-minute stylish addition. And keep your eyes peeled for the opening of Reiss in August

What’s new at The Avenue

For hungry families looking to fuel up before takeoff, the new Great Northern Market delivers an airport-first market hall dining experience. With six street food kitchens and bars downstairs in the departure lounge, it offers endless options to satisfy every palate.

For quicker bites on the move, families can pick up a fresh juice from Joe & The Juice, an artisan coffee at Starbucks or a tasty baguette from Upper Crust.

Beyond dining, mums can explore Pandora’s new Summer Charms collection, dads can discover the calming new Rituals Karma range, and young builders will love the LEGO® Technic Koenigsegg Sadair's Spear Megacar.

A taste of summer

This summer, Pasta Evangelists invites families to celebrate the sun-drenched Costiera Amalfitana with its new Summer in Amalfi menu. Little ones can tuck into dishes like lemon and burrata limoncini, lemon tagliatelle, and lemon sorbet served inside a real frozen lemon.

San Carlo’s new Summer Spritz Collection brings a taste of classic Italian aperitivo culture to Terminal 2. Designed for a relaxing pre-flight experience, parents can pair a spritz with seasonal Italian dishes, fresh seafood, handmade pasta and signature sharing plates, before boarding.

Fever-Tree Cocktail & Champagne Bar has also launched its new Summer Spritz Menu, serving everything from classic favourites to unique flavour twists.

New brands at World Duty Free

World Duty Free continues to expand its offering with an impressive line-up of newly arrived luxury brands. Travellers can now discover skincare and fragrances from Aesop, Creed, CeraVe, Caudalie, Drunk Elephant and Chantecaille, alongside beauty collections from Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Carolina Herrera and Rabanne. For mums seeking a summer scent, Hugo Boss has released its latest fragrance - Boss Bottled Beyond - a travel exclusive, until its nationwide release at the end of August.

The Executive by Escape Lounges

Families can now enjoy a new way to start their journey, as The Executive by Escape Lounges officially opens its doors.

Designed for passengers looking for a more refined start to their travels, The Executive combines chef-led dining, premium drinks and Manchester-inspired spaces within one premium lounge experience.

Little explorers can fill their plates at what is believed to be the UK's first airport lounge carvery, while families can enjoy the theatre of live cooking, made-to-order dishes, barista coffee and premium drinks, all set within a collection of dining spaces designed to encourage guests to explore.
