SPOTLIGHT ON: Twilight Spa Garden Hotel Break at Carden Park

Best for...Intimate date night for two
There is something quite nice about turning a normal evening into a mini break, which is exactly what we did when we headed to Carden Park for a night away and to enjoy the ‘Twilight Spa’ experience.
We checked into the hotel before making our way over to The Spa at Carden for the evening. The Twilight experience gives you access to the Spa Garden and indoor Thermal Suite from 6pm until 9.30pm, with a welcome glass of sparkling wine to get things started.
The expansive outdoor Spa Garden is incredible with stunning views of the Cheshire countryside that encourage you to pause and unwind. There’s an outdoor vitality pool, three hot tubs, thermal pods, a panoramic herbal lounge, fire pit and plenty of places to sit and relax. Inside, there’s an indoor vitality pool, heated relaxation beds, Finnish and bio saunas, a tepidarium, salt and aroma steam rooms, experience showers and an ice fountain.
We spent the evening dipping in and out of the different experiences, but it was the outdoor hot tubs that we kept coming back to. As it got darker, the garden became beautifully illuminated and sitting outside together with the steam rising around us felt like a proper escape from everyday life.
We then headed to Elements, the on-site restaurant for dinner, before returning to our room for the night. Having the hotel stay was definitely worth adding – there was no need to drive home, and we could enjoy a leisurely breakfast the following morning before heading back into the real world. The Twilight Spa Garden Hotel Break includes an overnight stay, breakfast and
access to the hotel’s Leisure Club.
For us, it was the combination of the spa, dinner and hotel stay that made this feel like a genuine date night rather than just a spa visit. It’s an easy way to get away for 24 hours without actually having to go very far.
Sometimes the best mini breaks are the ones that are right on your doorstep.
