The Lowry Hotel is set to make Wednesdays a lot more delicious, indulging diners with a new bespoke Wellington dish every week at just £50 per couple.
The River Restaurant has designed a range of speciality Wellingtons, bespoke to the five-star restaurant, as well as offering special prices on matching wines.
Diners will be able to enjoy a different Wellington each week during the months of November and December, with a mouth-watering Pork Fillet Wellington as its next offering.
A delicious pork fillet encased in a light pastry served with sage and apple stuffing, truffled cauliflower cheese and Pommery grain mustard mash is guaranteed to satisfy the taste buds.
Other Wellingtons on offer at The River Restaurant include Venison Wellington, a 24 hours braised shoulder farce dish with caramelised red cabbage, juniper and orange sauce, as well as a Chicken Wellington, with wild mushroom, truffle duxelle, glazed chicken wings and bacon dauphinoise.
Throughout December, the five-star hotel will also be serving a very special Christmas Wellington, which is set to make diners get in the festive spirit.
The River Restaurant recently finished its five-star renovation which saw an entire redesign of the hotel’s bar and restaurant.
The new-look is being created by renowned interior designers, Goddard Littlefair, who also designed the hotel’s newly refurbished Presidential Suite and lobby areas which have a similar fluid and sophisticated look and feel.
