Clear Living introduces Sky-Frame to Cheshire
Clear Living are Structural Glass specialists based in Cheshire offering luxury glazing solutions to both the residential and commercial markets.
Here they introduce us to Sky-Frame, the Swiss made company offering bespoke minimal glazing solutions. Sky-Frame technology stands for precise engineering and the pursuit of the best possible windows and doors.
Living with Sky-Frame means living in your own special dream home. The frameless sliding windows are the key to exceptional architectural creations and, thanks to the flush transition between indoors and outdoors, an unbounded spatial experience with spectacular views.
So what sets these doors apart from others on the market? Sky-Frame windows are framelessly transparent from the ceiling to the floor. There are no chunky frames obstructing the view. This is made possible by the track system that is fully concealed in the floor – the result of 15 years of development. This creates a feeling of vast wide-open spaces, even when the windows are shut.
Sky-Frame sliding doors are available up to a maximum of 5 meters high and 3.5 meters wide allowing vast expanses of opening spaces to be created. Curved and sloped options are also available.
The excellent sound and thermal control standards met by Sky-Frame technology mean options are available for both double and triple glazed depending upon location, climate and insulation requirements.
A unique and popular feature is the ability to choose automation. Sky-Frame electric drive facilitates simple and virtually noiseless operation of up to 6 sliding panels at the touch of the button which is unobtrusively integrated into the locking handle and can all be linked to your home automation system.
Sky-Frame offers excellent protection against burglary thanks to the bonding of the insulating glass to the GRP profiles and the multi-point locking system. Various additional components are available to meet further security requirements including insulated security (bulletproof) glass.
Other tailored options are available including integrated fly screens, pocket door designs and integrated solar blinds. Choose your colour profile and see your vision come to life!
A new product to Sky-Frame is Sky-Frame Pivot – a fully glazed door system available up to 5 meters tall and 2 meters wide. All it takes is a gentle push and the “Pivot” swings open easily around its axis. In terms of design ingenuity, the pivot door system meets Sky-Frame’s exacting requirements: The slim frame profiles have a minimal visible width of 40 millimetres. Thanks to the thermally insulated profiles with an exceptional U-value, the doors provide excellent insulation as well as ensuring maximum security. Automation can be installed to allow the door to swing silently and gracefully.
