The Sunday Roast Review : Palm Court Restaurant
The quintessentially British Sunday Roast is one of our most popular dishes, so we sent the team out to sample some of the best in the region
Situated within its own beautifully landscaped grounds Darren Maw and friends visited the luxurious hotel restaurant
Situated on the outskirts of Chester, this was my first time visiting Palm Court Restaurant. The venue was easily accessible from the motorway network )A55, M53, M56 and M6) and there was parking on site which meant we didnβt have far to walk post meal. We were greeted by Lucy the lovely receptionist who kindly led us to our table. The setting of the restaurant is just outstanding, I would go as far as saying probably one of the best restaurant decors that I have had the pleasure to visit, with a small water feature at one end, gorgeous lighting, soft furnishings and even a piano that played itself.
The Sunday roast is a carvery which was perfect for us as you can choose exactly the meats that you would like and as much or as little veg to accompany. All of the food was presented beautifully and the Yorkshire puddings were nearly as big as your plate which pleased me most as I devoured two of them. We couldnβt have asked for more from a leisurely Sunday afternoon, we were treated like royalty, the atmosphere was lovely and the food was delicious. All of us said we would return in a heartbeat. I would recommend to anyone especially if you are looking for somewhere for a special occasion.
