What inspired you to get into fashion?
As a child I’d always been obsessed with Barbie dolls and picking out outfits and styling them, but it was my foundation year at Manchester School of Art that really inspired me to go into fashion.
What are your top career highlights so far?
Being shortlisted and runner up for the British Fashion Council warehouse competition. I met an amazing panel who gave me some solid advice, experience, and words of encouragement
Getting into the Royal College of Art in London was a major career highlight for me and of course graduating
Receiving a scholarship from the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (it was a lengthy process of presenting to panels and I’m so grateful they believed in me and my work)
Meeting Victoria Beckham and hearing she liked my work
Having a photoshoot I worked on featured in Vogue Japan
What does the future have in store for you?
Continuing to work with beauty and fashion brands on a freelance basis and setting up my own accessories brand which is super exciting.
